Deep Fried Oreos

Well, they deep fry everything in the South now, don't they? This past weekend I went to the Ellijay, GA Apple Festival. Deep fried oreos, pickles, green tomatoes... and rumor has it, there is a fair that has deep fried coca cola. Now, how the hell do they do THAT?!? So, after consuming said deep fried oreos (TASTY!) and some funnel cake AKA fried dough in the northeast.. I left the festival with a bag of gala apples, apple bread, and cider doughnuts. If I had another arm, i'm sure there would have been more coming home with me! Ellijay is a town that reminds me of home.. its also my friend Denisha's hometown :) But yea, its up in the mountains of North Georgia. It was so cold this weekend that I saw my breath! 37 degrees yesterday morning! Brrr..

*Congrats Brandy on the upcoming addition to your family!!*

Tornado Warnings...

For the record, I am NOT a fan of tornadoes.. tornado warnings... tornado watches.. any of that crap. Nothing that requires a whole "season". And so it begins....

Where did September go?

Suddenly its October.. September FLEW by!

This weekend was pretty good! Friday was Frank's last day at work, and that night we all met up downtown at the Capital Grille restaurant.. it was absolutely amazing. The restaurant is at the top of a building and our reservations were at sunset, and the views of the city were incredible!! After that we played pool and drank until about 2 am without our boss. Saturday I worked a youth football game in Tucker and had dinner that night at Don Pablo's, yum! Yesterday my Patriots won and I baked some pumpkin spice bread & muffins.. and that was my weekend! :)
