I miss him

Not much is going on.. working a lot, trying to stay busy.. the usual. Missing Kevin... but he called last night, so that made things better! It sucks when my best friend Lynn is away at Boot Camp and I can't talk to her, and he's gone too.. ugh. Not cool.

Kevin, eu falto-o muito muito. As noites são as mais duras. mas eu vê-lo-ei em 17 dias. Não pode esperar. Beijos & Hugs..

Well, graduation finally came and went! It was a great night. I'm happy that Kevin wanted to come with me, he sat with Caren's husband Paul and her parents, so he wasn't completely alone.. afterwards we all went out to dinner together. It was cute, Caren and I were the last to walk across to get our certificates and suddenly we see Kevin & Paul slip into the front row with cameras ready :)
So he leaves for Brazil tonight, for 3 weeks. Its part of his job, the international travel. It should hopefully go very quickly.. work all week, and next weekend i'll continue doing massage on Saturday mornings, but baseball starts on Sunday up at ECB, so i'll have something going every day to keep me busy. I don't know what I can say about this man.. he's incredible. I am so SO lucky!

1 day until graduation!

Last night's graduation party at Jeff's was outstanding. Let me explain something here, and here only. In photos, yes I have on an Alabama t shirt. No meaning behind it. I thought it would be cold enough that i'd have my RED SOX sweatshirt on over it, but being so close to the fire I didn't need my hoodie. If given the chance again, yes i'd wear a different shirt. End of story. Other than that, it was great. My Nalgene full of rum was delicious, the 66 jello shots were a big hit and gone in 15 minutes, and the Nalgene full of Everclear/Red Bull/Gatorade was good too. And my great bf, Kevin, had fun with us too :) I'm a lucky lucky girl...

Happy Birthday Lynn!!

So today is my bestest friend Lynn's birthday. She's away at boot camp, but this post is dedicated to her. She is absolutely AMAZING! She knows how to make me laugh when I need it, and stay silent when I need her to listen. When I need to spill and tell her about things that drive me crazy I know she'll be sitting there waiting for me to get to the good details, and even the not so good details that other people would think are gross. We can talk about everything, there isn't anything I would ever be afraid to tell her or ask her opinion about. I love her to pieces and I miss her like crazy. She knows more about me than anybody, and doesn't judge whatsoever. She's the only person who understands why I do the things I do, and helps me get out of the shit I tend to get myself into. So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Lynn! Love you and can't WAIT to see you!! xo

Still alive..

This past week has been exhausting! Between working for 12 hours each day, going to class, going out after class, Kevin.. its been a long FUN week! I got a total of about 16 hours of sleep entirely last week. Our class had our very last class on Thursday night and we got our graduation packets, which we are now allowed to submit as part of our application to take the board exams and get licensed. FINALLY!! :) So next week I can get back on a regular schedule of working out after work. Tonight we're all going out as a class again, and tomorrow I can relax and sleep and clean my apartment!! That's all i've got for you now.. But next weekend is looking AWESOME :)

I am addicted to pumpkin seeds in a serious way. So.. anyways. Nata's party yesterday was great! We proved that we're fun outside of class, for sure. Today was an absolutely terrible day. I don't want to go into details, it'll just upset me again, but I need to hurry up and take the boards. After I got out of work I had a second interview at a chiropractic clinic, then I got some groceries and about 15 minutes ago I started some laundry. As long as I remember to put it in the dryer before I go to sleep i'll be all set... so thats about it. Here's a party photo or two..

No official title, sorry

Is it sad that last Thursday, I finally finished my last make up assignment for school? Granted, the last one had to be turned in by April 7th, but still... you should have seen my list of assignments to finish at one point. Ridiculous! But its over :) Tuesday and Wednesday are the last Board Exam reviews that we have and Thursday night is a "reflections" class I think.. the last class EVER!! We'll probably be at Gilly's every night after class, but especially on Thursday I think we're all going out afterwards. I know how much fun we'll have, but next week i'm working 5 straight 12 hour days in a row.. so i'm kind of dreading how exhausted i'll be. Getting about 5 hours of sleep per night doesn't help things either unfortunately. Today I got up around 11, which is RARE.. usually I don't sleep past 7 (I also got in at 1:30am, that was probably part of it!). Well, technically, I woke up at 6 and jumped out of bed b/c I thought it was a weekday.. then I calmed down and realized I had nothing to get up for, for once. I hate that I have to set up an index card leaning up against my alarm clock on weekends that says "Its Saturday/Sunday. Go back to sleep" so I don't freak out and panic that I may have overslept again. You only make that mistake once hopefully!
So tomorrow is the first of 2 graduation parties for my class. Its at Nata's house, which luckily isn't too far away from where I live. I'm bringing back the shady Nalgene bottle from the Norwich days... things could get out of hand for a Sunday afternoon.

Highly agitated

For some reason, going to school makes me kind of agitated now. I'm fine until I physically walk into the classroom and sit down, and from there on i'm irritable. I don't know why. I can't focus, i'm exhausted, and the sarcasm is reaching new levels. Next week is going to be even worse, i'm working 5 straight 12+ hour days... ugh. Not cool.

DONE!!!

Well, the no studying thing worked out fortunately... I got an 87!!! Now, we have class until next Thursday, but its just board exam reviews and our last class will be a "reflections" class... great.
