Ahh weekend

Finally weekend is here! I can lay around and watch college football and just hopefully start feeling better. I still feel icky BUT the potential of some New Years plans down in Florida is making me feel better!

So lets hope I sleep more than 4 hours tonight, even if I have to sit up to do so like last night :(

Hit by the death truck

6 hours of sleep in 2 days is not fun.. it seems as soon as I finally drift off its 4:30am and I can't breathe again or get back to sleep. I hate this. Come take care of me :(

I do NOT heart Nyquil

Well good news.. its not bronchitis. Its a nasty sinus infection...yay. I think i'm immune to Nyquil, instead of putting me to sleep it keeps me awake laying there wondering "When is it going to kick in?". The funny part about the Nyquil is that I lost the little plastic cup that comes with it, so i've been using a shot glass instead. I still feel like i've been hit by the death truck though.So tonight is our Reflexology test, which means nobody will touch my feet EVER AGAIN! :) I'm beyond thrilled.. I hate having my feet touched. I would rather set my feet on fire and walk across hot coals than have them touched. I've had one pedicure in my life, and I really did love how it turned out.. but i'm not allowed back into that place. The little chinese lady was drenched... I tipped her an extra $5 and hurried out. That was July 15th. Maybe MAYBE on a special occasion.. like a wedding and I mean my own.. but thats it. Anyways.
I go home to Massachusetts in 22 days!

I heart Nyquil

Well, it would appear that i've come down with bronchitis again. It happens a lot, I get it pretty easily. So the past few days have been spent watching football nonstop. At least some pretty good games were on (Arkansas upset LSU!), and the Heisman race looks pretty tight.. I keep insisting that Matt Ryan has a good shot, but I may only be saying that b/c BC football is a tie to home for me (thanks AR!), so i'll go back to voting for Tebow. Thats pretty much all that I did this weekend, other than meatball pizza on Friday night.. don't knock it until you try it, its good! Anyways.. thats all i've got. Nyquil's kicking my ass... goodnight.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! I hope everyone had a great day. Mine was alright. My dad called SEVEN TIMES (yes. SEVEN.), the first of which came literally one minute after I woke up. I was slightly cranky, it takes me a while to warm up to people once I wake up which is why i'm glad I live alone! I watched movies and cooked a small turkey dinner and cleaned my kitchen.
I want to say thanks to everyone that texted or called me today.. it meant a lot to me. I appreciate everyone's invitations to spend the day with them and their families, one year I may actually take someone up on the offer. So, thank you.

I'll try not to breathe on anyone...

For some spectacular reason, I get to babysit today from 10-12, despite the barking seal noise coming from my direction and generally feeling like crap.. yay. Fast forward 4 hours please?

Knoxville? Anywhere but here? Hmm...

So the Texas womens basketball team is playing Tennessee today up in Knoxville (approx 5 hours north of here). It promises to be a really good game.. i'm feeling pretty bored for the past 3 days.. and if I want to make the game, I should leave now. I'm hesitant to drive 10 hours in one day though.
I wish I knew why, but i'm really irritated. I have been since Thursday night at class when I was, once again, a part of three b/c nobody can touch my feet. The problem with being in a group of 3 is that someone always doesn't get the full lesson of doing things the way they should be done. There's this whole abbreviated time/rotation factor to throw in. So stubborn me said "No you guys go ahead. I'll watch." And the more they said "come on, its fine, join us" I got more and more pissed. I hate being stubborn sometimes, but I was in full out "leave me out of this" mode, so thats how the night went.

I did see SAW4 by the way.. it was good, but the ending was a little confusing at times. So next, i'm going to take this thing that I answered when I started this in August '06 and see how my answers are different now. This is me wasting time.

Another update...

Alright, I know its been over a year since i've posted last. I'll try to get better at that, I promise! Things down here are alright. I'm at Atlanta School of Massage, I started in January '07 and I graduate April 10, 2008. I've been lucky enough to add beach volleyball to the list of sports i'm working with.. AVP Pro Beach Volleyball tour stop here in June, and Fudpuckers Fall Classic in Destin, FL in October. Its amazing.
Randoms...

• Still working with baseball. Jupiter, FL (October 25-29) was fun despite the rain and the Rafael Palmeiro incident.
• My birthday, again, sucked... I had to work, and that was fine, but the person I was seeing at the time completely ignored the fact that I was another year older. I didn't want anything but the acknowledgement that it was in fact, August 7.
• I discovered that Oktoberfest in Helen, GA was really the best thing since sliced bread, one night is really not enough to enjoy this small German town in the North Georgia mountains
• I'm slowly being pulled from neutral territory between being a Georgia fan and a Georgia Tech fan to the Georgia side.. for football. Baseball will always be a GT fan.

And, oh yea...

THE RED SOX WON THE WORLD SERIES AGAIN!!!

The holidays are quickly approaching. This will be the 3rd Thanksgiving that I won't be with my family, and it never gets any easier. I don't want to move back up there, but its just lonely here during the holidays. I'll be going home Dec 20-26 though, that will definitely help. Until then i'll just be working, going to school, catching some Atlanta Thrashers hockey games, and hopefully just seeing my friends as much as I can. There are some weekends when I have Friday from 10am until Tuesday at 6:15am off from work.. so that leaves a lot of time to either have nothing to do, or to find things to fill that time! Like this weekend. Next week, with it being Thanksgiving, I have from Wednesday 1pm until Monday at 6:15am off. So yea.. if you're in Atlanta or around Atlanta.. call me.
